Tango

Dance as if nobody is watching.
I once heard somebody read this poem, it was called "the dance", and it litterally sent chills up my spine as she read it out loud. I asked the author for a copy. I hang on to it. It has so much meaning to me. Maybe one day I will post it here.

The image above is with Jim Young and Willow. Her and I have become very good friends. I admire her for her positive outlook on life. It's so rewarding to be around people with such an upbeat attitude, even when things get rough or difficult. It's the character trait that truly defines a person. It's a reflection of inner strength and beauty.
You can expect to see much more of her soon. She's just getting into artistic nude modeling, and I know she'll really enjoy this as a creative outlet, just as much as I do. We seem to be completely on the same page in so many different ways, and I hope that the both of us will be able to push the envelope a bit artistically.
Willow describes her so well, not only because a willow tree becomes more beautiful as it ages, also because it conquers any storm by bending with the wind.

What an amazing photo and perfectly named. This photo shoot was a dance. Your kind words make me smile and fill my heart. I look forward to dancing again with you while no one watches.......You inspire me. Thank you!

I know the poem well. I even have the T-shirt (I mean, I literally have the T-shirt of the poem!)
You're quite right, it is inspiring, and sums you up nicely, I think :-)

I love this photo. I have looked at it numerous times and it just keeps getting better. Sexy and full of motion. I see big things for this Willow model and you (perhaps a sequel? - Next time the Cha Cha...)

Thank you!
Lin - I'd be surprised to find that we are talking about the same poem, I'd love to hear yours though!

Willow - I'd dance with you any day, and then some... do it again soon?

Adam - I feel the same way about this image. I caught myself staring at it this morning - and it doesn't even dawn on me that it's me in the photo - I love it so much. Jim already has an idea for a sequel...

Art should tell a story and resonate with the viewer. I have not been able to get the feeling of this image out of my mind for the last few days. There is a significant amount of art out there that falls flat, for me, and leaves me with nothing to take away or think about. Furthermore, this photo is dynamic and suggests an energy that Jim, Iris and Willow were able to distill into one single moment.

Well done.

Thank you so much for this feedback. For what it's worth, I feel exactly the same way about it. When we first saw the image, as a raw file, straight from the camera, both Willow and I knew there was something magic about it. This image really sticks with me as well. Another favorite for sure, and like I explained above, I like it because I don't see myself in the image, all I see is the magic of the image.
